Hon. Michuki was a strong, solid, principled nationalist who had facts on his fingertips. "He was a dear elderly advisor to me with a very humble family. When they came to my home, I was surprised and greatly touched by the humility and simplicity with which they carried themselves". The former Minister always stuck to his guns and whenever he spoke in the Cabinet, his colleagues listened. My deep condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, constituents and the people of Kenya. R.I.P Hon. #Michuki.

Tourism minister Najib Balala and Kenya Tourist Board managing director Muriithi Ndegwa address a press conference at Utali House in the past. The Tourism ministry will lead other sector players in classifying hotels, restaurants, and pubs as attention shifts to broadening leisure travel beyond Kenya’s famed bush and beach experience.
Kenyan hotels will be classified afresh as part of efforts to help market the country as a tourist destination.
