Absolutely perfect dinner. My wife and I are new to MD and we happened across Ciao Bella. I called to set up a reservation and got the owner Tony who was very pleasant and wished us a warm welcome to MD. The restaurant was very intimate and just perfect. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive but not at all intrusive. Our waiter Charles had suggested a house wine which went fabulous with our dinner. My wife and I had calamari, house salad and my wife had the veal saltimbocca, and I had the chicken marsala. I tried some of hers and she some of mine. Holy cow all of this was just perfectly cooked, tasty and memorable. Tony thank you for the perfect seat for my wife and I by the window. Can't wait to come by to have another dinner at your restaurant.

We went on a Saturday lunch time. We were the only ones there. First of all, the restaurant smelled of mildew. My husband asked if we want to go to Amicci's as we always did but I said let's just try out this one because we've never been there before and my kids were hungry and we already sat down. We should've listened to him. We ordered three dishes and all of them had a very poor portion. We were so surprised. The taste of main dish was mediocre. The side pasta was horrible. The second surprise was our hostess/waitress put 20% gratuities on our check! Come on, it was lunch time and it was a party of 2 adults and 2 small children. We are never ever going there again.

This was an awesome experience for our first time ever eating in Little Italy. This is such a cute little restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and the employees were very friendly. They are a little pricey though and parking is another expense, so this wouldn't be something we did often. But for special occassions, it is great.

If there was an option for giving a restaurant a negative star that is what I would give to this restaurant. We had a groupon and so I called before hand and made a reservation as per groupon terms. When we reached the restaurant ON TIME, there was no host/hostess, I had to go look for a waiter after waiting for about 5-7 minutes. THE wait/host/hostess staff was not happy that we were with a toddler (Arent' Italian restaurants are mostly FAMILY RESTAURANTS?) We received very bad, cold vibes from the wait staff there. The guy who took our order had so much arrogance, dont know for what reason. He was trying sooo hard to explain the special dishes in his FAKE italian accent. The food we got was cold, bland, not enough sauce on pasta.......... And yes the most important thing was they added 18% gratuity for 3 adults and a 14 months toddler. This was not stated in Groupon. When I questioned this 18% gratuity to that Fake italian accent guy, .........drum roll please.......he tells me that the table was for FOUR adults......really i told him do you consider a 14 month old toddler an Adult just to add the 18% gratuity? I did not like this kind of SHADY behavior. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN AND WILL LET MY FRIENDS KNOW NOT TO GO THERE.

Fabulous food! Owner, Tony Gambino, is very personable and mingles with the customers as if he was a customer himself. If you're in baltimore this is a MUST VISIT! Lets not forget the warm bread and seasoned olive oil!
