I'm sure there's a correlation with current temperatures.

Google math: Cool + Cruz = Creepy.

+Nest is now part of +Google! With this acquisition, +Larry Page now has the premiere "smart things" company in the fold! And with Google's increasingly unethical politics, from funding Ted Cruz and Jim Inhofe to joining ALEC and Heritage Action, who knows what they can do? http://googledontfundevil.org #DontFundEvil

Partly public contributions yes. Some of the biggies of the green movement the ones with an agenda , the watermelons contribute the millions.
That skepical science outfit is still using the Michael Mann hockey stick which has been discredited years ago.

In 2008, +Sergey Brin and +Larry Page talked about acting quickly to address the threat of global warming and dirty energy. By 2013, they're funding Jim Inhofe, John Barrasso, Ted Cruz, ALEC, CEI, and Heritage Action.

Oh well... #dontfundevil

I last visited when it was only a truck - now they have the kitchen adjunct to the Lavaca Street Grill. The po boy/taco/salad menu of fresh fish or meat is still amazing, though I do miss the food truck informality. Can't complain about getting to watch the game with food that's easy better than standard sports bar fare though.

I was very disappointed by my experience visiting Google headquarters. I went there in July to deliver a petition signed by over 50,000 people asking Google CEO Larry Page to end Google's financing of climate deniers like Sen. Jim Inhofe. Inhofe not only calls global warming a "hoax", he has called for the criminal investigation of climate scientists. I visited Google headquarters with a few dozen local climate activists to protest Google's breaking of the "do no evil" pledge. The Googlers we met during our protest were very nice, including the security guards, when we were on public property. However, when we attempted to deliver the petition signatures (on a thumb drive), the security guards only allowed one person to go to the front desk. When I got there, the receptionist refused to accept the delivery, refused to put me in contact with any Google officials. Her only recommendation for how the public could reach a real person at Google was for us to submit a business proposal. My experience at Google headquarters was a real disappointment, compounded by the recent news -- undisclosed on the Google Public Policy "transparency" page -- that Google is financing the American Legislative Exchange Council, another notorious climate denial front group. Google, don't fund evil.

Google DC is violating Google's "don't be evil" motto. After Sen. Jim Inhofe called for the criminal investigation of climate scientists, Google DC held a fundraiser for him at this location on July 11, 2013. After the American Legislative Exchange Council worked with the Heartland Institute to claim global warming pollution is "beneficial," Google DC became an ALEC member. The Google Public Policy and Government Affairs division should not be financing global warming deniers. Don't fund evil.
