This was my first Android app. Google broke the Android WebView a few days ago, so I had to fix it, then also used the opportunity to clean up the code for publication.

If you read lots of feeds, and you want them presented in a compact and efficient widget on your homescreens, this is a good tool.

Published my first Android app. For pay because I want to see how that works, maybe later I'll GPL it. Two things I've learned:

The Android framework is awful. Now I know why most Android apps suck.

It's difficult to escape the filter bubble. You want feeds, you use Google Reader, citizen. Your Android browser won't let you do anything else. Let's hope someone reinvents UUCP/NNTP soon.

I am getting into the final round of my first android/cling app as well. I can second your statement about the android frameworkl. Really bad! Never spent so much time debuggin the most basic stuff (my app has a fairly complex fragment-based UI)
