Introduction

The Alpine Space programme is the EU transnational cooperation programme for the Alps. Partners from seven Alpine countries (Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Slovenia and Switzerland) work together to promote regional development in a sustainable way.

The total budget for the 2014–2020 period is of almost €139 Million, which will be invested in projects contributing to sustainable regional development in the following 4 thematic areas:

Priority 1: Innovative Alpine Space
Priority 2: Low Carbon Alpine Space
Priority 3: Liveable Alpine Space
Priority 4: Well-governed Alpine Space
