Greg’s passion for music, sound and technology led him to create Pyramind Studios in 1988. Greg’s visionary leadership as Founder and Chief Executive Officer has steadily grown Pyramind Inc. into an internationally recognized and award winning production and training company. He has worked diligently to build a winning team composed of some of the best talent in the business. With over twenty years of experience as a producer, mix and mastering engineer, musician and studio owner Greg has worked with an impressive list of high profile clients including: Sony, Microsoft Game Studios, SEGA, 343 Industries, Ubisoft, LucasArts, 2K Games, J. Walter Thompson, Maclaren Mccann, Grey Advertising and recording artists including Jerry Garcia, Merl Saunders, Rocker-T and Joan Baez to name a few.
In 2003, Greg expanded Pyramind Studios to create a world-class music production
school. Pyramind’s training programs pioneered the integration of DAW
manufacture certifications with comprehensive in studio
training in digital music production. In 2007 Greg was awarded the “Established
Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Renaissance School of Entrepreneurship and
received certificates of recognition and merit from State Assemblyman Mark
Leno, San Francisco City Treasurer Jose Cisneros and California State Senator
Greg’s San Francisco community involvement includes being the driving force behind Test Press; a topical discussion, networking event and music review panel geared towards emerging trends in electronic music production. He is also the executive producer of the Test Press compilation series and the official LovEvolution compilation CD that led to the creation of the first ever electronic music scholarship fund, Beat University.
Greg’s other accomplishments include being a published author and experienced moderator and panelist at numerous industry events including: The SF MusicTech Summit, The Flux Summit, GRAMMY Career Day and The California Music Summit. In 2010 he worked with Harmonix and MTV Games (the maker and then publisher of the video game, Rock Band) to create a nationwide touring master class (sponsored by The Recording Academy, T-Mobile, Fender & Shure) to train recording artists and labels in the process of publishing their music into the Rock Band Network.
