Gregory J. hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.

Greg’s passion for music, sound and technology led him to create Pyramind Studios in 1988. Greg’s visionary leadership as Founder and Chief Executive Officer has steadily grown Pyramind Inc. into an internationally recognized and award winning production and training company. He has worked diligently to build a winning team composed of some of the best talent in the business. With over twenty years of experience as a producer, mix and mastering engineer, musician and studio owner Greg has worked with an impressive list of high profile clients including: Sony, Microsoft Game Studios, SEGA, 343 Industries, Ubisoft, LucasArts, 2K Games, J. Walter Thompson, Maclaren Mccann, Grey Advertising and recording artists including Jerry Garcia, Merl Saunders, Rocker-T and Joan Baez to name a few.

In 2003, Greg expanded Pyramind Studios to create a world-class music production school. Pyramind’s training programs pioneered the integration of DAW manufacture certifications with comprehensive in studio training in digital music production. In 2007 Greg was awarded the “Established Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Renaissance School of Entrepreneurship and received certificates of recognition and merit from State Assemblyman Mark Leno, San Francisco City Treasurer Jose Cisneros and California State Senator Carole Migden.

Greg’s San Francisco community involvement includes being the driving force behind Test Press; a topical discussion, networking event and music review panel geared towards emerging trends in electronic music production. He is also the executive producer of the Test Press compilation series and the official LovEvolution compilation CD that led to the creation of the first ever electronic music scholarship fund, Beat University.

Greg’s other accomplishments include being a published author and experienced moderator and panelist at numerous industry events including: The SF MusicTech Summit, The Flux Summit, GRAMMY Career Day and The California Music Summit. In 2010 he worked with Harmonix and MTV Games (the maker and then publisher of the video game, Rock Band) to create a nationwide touring master class (sponsored by The Recording Academy, T-Mobile, Fender & Shure) to train recording artists and labels in the process of publishing their music into the Rock Band Network.

Greg graduated with honors from SF State University with an inter-disciplinary degree in Music, Business, and Broadcasting. He is a twenty-year voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (The Grammys) where he has served as Trustee and a member of The Board Of Governors and continues to serve on the Producers & Engineers Wing national advisory council. He is also a member of The Game Audio Network Guild and a BMI writer and publisher.
