Ok. I feel like it's been ages since I last added any features to LibreOffice, but here we go.

Calc in 5.4 will support 4 additional sheet protection options. I admit it's a tiny piece of enhancement, but hopefully it's useful for some users.

This is an article that I can highly relate to. It's often hard to imagine that the line between "right" and "wrong" is very blur when it comes to technical approaches. When you find yourself calling something "wrong" or "very wrong", often times you are putting your own (unfair) bias into your thought process.

The orcus project is now set up with automated build testing. I'd like to particularly give huge thanks to +Markus Mohrhard for setting this up!

I'm assuming he wants to hire a Japanese native speaker & kernel hacker.
Do you know a Japanese Linux kernel engineer looking for a job? Please let me know.

Japanese native speaker is a must, living in Japan is a plus.

Here is the book I'm currently reading.  It's a great book on the subject of thread API in C++11, and one that makes you realize that there is more to threads than just mutexes and condition variables.

I also happen to be working on making more aggressive use of multithreading to the libraries I maintain (and orcus in particular).  But I reserve doing any serious work until I finish this book at least, so that I have at least the full scope of what I can potentially do with the C++ standard's multithreading framework.
