DISGUSTING! We did not like anything about this place. From the moment we walked in the door, I felt like we had just made a poor life decision. There wasn't a single clean table in the place. The floor had spills and mashed up chips everywhere. The only reason we stayed was due to being in a hurry to catch a movie. It cost $23 for two meals and one drink. They charge you even more for chips and salsa (we opted out). We got our food 30 seconds after it was ordered and wondered how it could have possibly been so fast. We got a "sweet tea" that wasn't sweetened at all and tasted as if it had been there for several days. We dumped that and tried some coca cola, and it was merely nasty flavored water. At that point we said screw the drink. We proceed to clean a table and eat. Neither of us liked our food. The beans are really runny and have no flavor. The rice is really dry and has no flavor at all. I was supposed to have gotten food I did not get. I have no clue what food I was served because it looked like slop. I then noticed the old guy at the front who just took our order, coughing all over a Rubbermaid container full of chips that he was taking out with his barehands. I no longer told my spouse to look (in disbelief), and then the other guy behind the counter joined the sick old man in shoveling out chips with their barehands from a dirty Rubbermaid container. I continued to watch in disbelief as both people repeatedly look over their shoulder to see if anyone is looking and keep digging chips out with their hands. The old guy even re-adjusted his hat and hair, ate a few bites of food over the chips, and kept digging into the chips for customers. I went to the counter again to express my disgust and was then greeted by some gnats. If I had noticed any gnats prior to this, I would have left in a heart beat. This place was disgusting and I hope anyone looking to go there will read this first. You have been warned! They need to be shut down. Grade F

Ordered the Super Tex platter: Chicken enchilada, chicken fajita taco, bean and cheese chalupa, beans and rice. I was thoroughly tex-mexified by the experience. That's all I can say. This is the closest to Tex Mex I have found in the STL area.

Great drive-thru Mexican. Great for picking up for take-out for dinner. Great for a quick meal for the family for dinner.

Being from Texas, I had wanted some Mexican/Tex-Mex food for a while and my friend recommended this place. I was very skeptical and was rightfully so. This food isn't Tex-Mex or Mexican food. I had the chicken tacos with rice and refried beans as well as a tamale. I knew this wasn't Tex-Mex or Mexican food when my tamale came back unwrapped and smothered in chili and cheese. The refried beans tasted like water, the rice was dry and there was nothing special about the tacos. The presentation was also terrible. You are served on paper plates that you have to go and bring to your table like McDonald's when your name is called. I recommend the Mexican chain, Hacineda's, across the street instead. It's closer to Tex-Mex or american Mexican food than this terrible place.

Some things here are just OK and prices tend to be pretty high for tex-mex, but I love that damn rotisserie chicken. Especially on the nachos.

While the food is delicious, I would rather pay a little bit more and actually have the MAIN ingredient not be a sidenote. The other day I had the Smoked Pork Enchilada and it barely had any pork in it. Not even close to filling the wrap. Today I had the Pork Burrito Bowl and was disappointed. It's made up of mostly raw green cabbage and there was, I kid you not, about a tablespoon of shredded pork on it, about 2 tbs of beans/onions, tiny bit of rice and a fried egg on top. Their menu states it has Pineapple in it but it didn't have that either. When I called their store, there was no apology at all or a willingness to remake it it or a credit for next time. In fact, the guy who answered also said he made my bowl (really I'm the only one in the past HOUR that ordered a pork burrito bowl from the driveup) and he knows there was more than a TBS of pork (okay 1.18 TBS then). He hung up on me without saying goodbye or how can I fix this!

Pretty good food. This place came highly recommended and I am glad we went but I probably won't go very often.
