Just for anyone who reads this, I posted 5 photos on 500px and had 25 comments in less than 2 hours with these two photos making the Popular category.  Goodbye Google+ Hello 500px!

I like the two above and several others.  I think you should put them into wallpaper slide shows that you can market online or through Windows and Mac.

Going to Glacier National Park soon. Any suggestions for best shot locations appreciated?

+Scott Kelby I followed your suggestion for asking for locations - I'm afraid I don't have your following to get help...any help... :-)  Oh well, there's always Google.

B+W 10 Stop ND Filter and & B+W UV Filter for sale

I'm selling both of these. They are 77mm so they'll fit most 24-70 and 70-200 lenses.

I bought the 10 Stop new for around $130 and the UV was around $90. I'll sell them together for $110 if anyone is interested. They are in excellent condition. If you're interested just let me know here or email me: jamesb859(at)gmail(dot)com

Just upgraded to HDR Efex 2.0.  My first shot at a single image HDR, a shot I took inside the Rome Pantheon.  Good stuff, a nice upgrade.

There was, this time when

Thanks!
This is a little drawing I did to say thank you to our wonderful service department. But, the reason why I posted this picture is to test a theory of mine that most folks will do a quick scan of the image posted and then if they know the person or like the shot, they may comment or plus1. How many of you actually read the post? If you have read this far I want you to leave a random comment and somewhere in the comment add an extra comma (,) but don't talk about what I am asking you to do. That way it won't be too obvious to others what is going on, but you will look cool and clued in if you added a comma. :D Let's see which of you folks are paying attention.

I've sort of given up on Google+   It seems to be posted by well known bloggists and viewed mostly by their followers.  I feel sort of like this lonely boat on a cool morning.  I've elected to mostly maintain my website and offe a few photos on my Facebook business site, glennbarlow|photography, visit me there if you like.  Meanwhile, I'll just follow the bloggers here from time to time for interest and entertainment.

Like most everyone I love Kelby Training.  I just applied a couple of the techniques (lens corrections and high contrast) I learned watching +Scott Kelby latest Travel Photography classes and got this example of turning an image of the catherdral in Cortona Italy into an interesting image (at least to me) although maybe I could soften some parts of it a bit as Scott explains how with masks.  Still, pretty cools stuff. Thanks Scott.

I enjoyed applying a little CS6 Oil Paint Filter to these images of Italy's Tuscany

My son took this photo of Rome's Spanish Steps with his basic point & shoot camera.  Its f/2.8 at 1/8th a second, so the people are blurry and the noise level is high, all those things that are normally bad. Yet I think he captured the lighting and mood extremely well, technically correct isn't always best.  I'm excited he's so much more a creative photographer than me.  I was with him and didn't get this shot with my D3s, the best I could do was a little post-processing...

The Tuscan sunset we watched from our Italian villa near Cortona.  Every night a pleasure...
