When companies go off-site for meetings and events, they mean business – but they’re also looking to relax a little, too. One way to ensure that happens is to invite Mother Nature. We make it easy to build the great outdoors into your agenda through a mix of “meet, eat and play” elements. Much of our 60,000 sq ft of indoor function space overlooks or links to gardens, patios, terraces and swaths of scenery. Meanwhile, our 240,000 sq ft of alfresco function space provides the perfect canvas for meeting planners seeking a "sky's the limit" sort of place to flex their creative muscles.

McKinney Roughs Nature Park is a stunning natural sanctuary located just next to our resort. Through our partnership with the park, guests can enjoy a number of outdoor adventures including guided hikes, kayaking the Colorado, rafting, rock-wall climbing, zip lining, stargazing and more. They say that life is better outside – venture to McKinney Roughs to learn why.

Everything’s bigger in Texas, which is why it makes perfect sense that we decided to seize some wide-open space to create more wide-open spaces for our drive-in guests.

This fall, we added 145 spots to our lot for a grand total of 695 parking spaces. That’s an increase of 26 percent! Our remarkable ratios now sit at 1.42 parking spaces per guest room (we have 491 of those) and 1.71 parking spaces per acre (we have 405 of those). In short, we have A LOT of visitor parking – the longhorn’s share of which is dedicated to complimentary self-parking.

Shady Grove is a popular pick for outdoor weddings at our resort – and we can see why. Hemmed with lush landscape and shaded by age-old pecan trees, this space packs a “wow factor” punch all on its own. We are head-over-heels for this creative take on a charming and elegant outdoor chapel (of love).

We just love the subtle purple highlights mixed in to our pond-side patch of prickly pear. This hearty and drought tolerant cacti is a snap to grow and maintain... Easy-breezy like a Lost Pines afternoon.
