Bruce Lee and some dude that does these weird roundhouse kicks
My brother sent this image to me and it brought back a rush of memories, mostly of me being the playful target of his Bruce Lee wannabe aspirations. I remember reading about Bruce years later and being both shocked and fascinated that he was was a philosopher, some say an atheist and a poet.

“You just wait. I'm going to be the biggest Chinese Star in the world.”

There's a video out there of him playing pingpong with nunchuks thats absolutely INSANE...

That would be Chuck Norris. Bruce Lee was the original bad ass!

+Brett Daniel, I just looked up that video and am going to post it, is it for real? Un-freakin-believably amazing! Wow!

Actually i think there may be more than one.. I think it IS real..

I'm rarely sad about celebrity deaths beyond the minimum humane reaction to the death of someone I don't know, but his death is one of those from which I truly feel a loss when given occasion to think about it. I just think he had so much to offer in the way of philosophy, integrity, and spirit.

But perhaps that legacy is all the stronger because he died so young...

+Bobby Nicholson He's just become too ubiquitous for the wrong reasons. I don't dislike him, I just don't feel the same way about him as I would Bruce Lee.

So even more tragic that Bruce's son Brandon left us early too...

If you love life, don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of. He was much more than just punches and kicks.

My older brother (a huge Bruce Lee fan) put me through the same antics when we were young.  Btw.... "Ip Man" loosely based on the life of Bruce Lee's teacher is a must see movie for fans of his marital arts fighting style.
