For branding reasons I'm going to shut down my podcast in the next few weeks and relaunch it under the name of another brand I own.

Just go with it. ;) 

I have about 12K downloads/mo for a weekly show, but subscribers have been flat for a while. Do I simply rename the show and keep the subscribers (I understand the feed name will stay the same), or do I shut down the show for real and start at episode 1 for the rebranded podcast. The upside of this would be (hopefully) a place in New & Noteworthy, plus I have nearly 1K people on my email list for the original podcast. The content/format will be nearly identical.

Any opinions would be welcome!

+Angelo Mandato I see what you're saying. You're right, I "figured" a lot of those people were subscribers, but I can't know for sure. I was looking at my Libsyn monthly downloads and extrapolating based on my own listening habits. I also have an email subscriber base, although I realize it's not the same thing.

I started themarketingagents.com a couple years back to be a platform that would include a blog, podcasts, and YouTube channel. Over time I realized that I didn't have enough time to do all three, and I settled (although settled isn't the right word) on the podcast.

I realize now that my site isn't reflective of what I'm looking to accomplish: 1) get more subscribers, 2) get more listeners, 3) establish the brand & credibility.

It's time for an overhaul, but I'm not sure where to start. What are some of the elements YOU use on your own website to grow your audience, or any other goals you may have?

+Lee Ball the play buttons should also appear near the top of each post, too. I had some issues w/the libsyn play box and the images, so I decided to go below the opening paragraph. Still, all things are up for grabs at this point, so i appreciate the feedback!
