The Nuccio Bertone - Changing childhood dreams into reality
You've got to admire the Italians sense of automotive styling, they just don't hold back when it comes to cars. This is very evident in the Nuccio Bertone prototype, a car that takes us all back to our childhoods when we used to play with Dinky's and Corgi's that were styled like something from a sci-fi movie.

The mighty physique of Nuccio expresses in key developed the concept of the minivan "cab forward", with the cockpit in a highly advanced positions, invented by Bertone with Carabo in 1967, then refined with the Stratos Zero in 1970, and entered production with the Lamborghini Countach in 1973. The architecture "cab forward" means that the Interior of the car is moved forward to make room for the central engine. The figurative element of greater reference to Stratos Zero is undoubtedly the large windshield with convergent shape, slightly trapezoidal. The sight of Nuccio's profile has the characteristics "two cusps" that were proper to the Stratos Zero, reinterpreted with a futuristic feel.

The large pavilion is inspired by the avant-garde architecture, for the first time exploiting the technology of "tensiostruttura", lighter and stronger than usual shells based on the pillars and beams. Lateral rods put in tension the material. To exploit this unprecedented style choice in the world of automobile, the pavilion was painted with a particular shade of Orange.

I’m writing this post for all of those first time car buyers out there who are on a really tight budget. When I first started driving I was in the exact same position as you. After spending most of my cash on driving lessons and then trying to keep some in reserve for car insurance, I was left with a minimal amount of money to actually buy a car with. Inevitably a lot of the cars I ended up looking at were rusted old bangers, cars which to be honest didn’t look all that safe. A lot of them did have an MOT of say 6 months though so they must be safe, right?
