Shaders! Part two: text to GPU, how data gets sent between stages, between your app, the "default" shaders and more

http://notes.underscorediscovery.com/shaders-second-stage/
I wrote a post about shaders recently - it was a primer, a "What the heck are shaders?" type of introduction. You should read it if you haven't, as this post is a continuation of the series. This article is a little deeper down the rabbit hole, a bit more technical but also a high level overview ...

Very nice intro into a topic that can be super confusing if you don't already know about it.

Legacy system color palettes and fonts. Might be useful for those making roguelike games or retro styled pixel art.

I had a C64 but my dad had a Toshiba laptop with some red-ish mono display. He had some games too like Sierra Boxing. So I wanted to see them in color and we connected the laptop via composite to a color monitor. But the terrible CGA colors! All the excitement turned into "MY EYES! TURN IT OFF! MAKE IT STOP!!! IT HURTS!"

Visual guide to Easing/Tweening functions (with jQuery/SCSS/CSS code).

Need something more specific? Try the Easing Function Generator by Timothee Groleau.

I've been looking into Elixir lately. Seems like a very interesting programming language.

See more Elixir Conf 2014 videos here:

Or this three hour intro to the language:
