For the current price definitely a vey good deal. Rooms are very large and clean, beds are comfortable. Service very friendly and professional. A little downside is the direct city location, which makes it a bit noisy (from the outside) in the mornings.

Very price worthy and nice rooms. Only negative is the thin walls.

I've effectively lived in this hotel for 5 weeks... and for the money, I can highly recommend it. If you can afford to spend a little more on the suites, it is worth it, as they're far superior to the standard rooms, though these standard rooms are still good value. Barcelona is a city of cramped apartment blocks, thin walls and wooden floors - so noise is a problem in any hotel located in an established neighborhood block, such as this. Overall, the decor of the hotel is rustic, but it is clean and I have had no issues with hygiene or standards. Perfect if you don't want to stay in yet another business hotel. I would sum it up by saying that it's a 3* hotel with 4* style. So of course, don't expect room service or porters. The internet has worked fairly well for me and I've been using it for 5 weeks, so I consider that to be a fair test. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and friendly and have been very accommodating in the weeks that I have stayed here. The restaurant is great in terms of atmosphere and price, but the quality of food is reflected in the price! It's not awful, but it's average. For the money, it's fine. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Cute boutique hotel in buzzing area, and 20 minutes walk for city's main attraction. Minimalist and modern rooms, gourmet restaurant and a nice bar!

The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived but the staff were really helpful and found us a table within 20 minutes. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was good. There was no specifically gluten free meals listed but all the usual foods types were available and the steak was nicely cooked. The bar and terrace area is great and does a large selection of speciality Gin & Tonics, as well as all the usual suspects. It did get a quite slow when it was busy but the staff were always polite and helpful. Great experience all round and I will definitely go again when I am back in the city.

Great botique hotel at a quiet location, just a minute walk from the citys temptations.

Positive: staff is friendly. the larger rooms look like the internet rooms, but the smaller ones are as small as a shoe box and look nothing like what is advertised. Price is reasonable (120-130 euro on a Saturday night). Negative: You need to take a small lift to the 2nd floor, walk down the hallway to a doorway leading to another lift (located in a hallway that smelled of sewage), which leads to another locked doorway on any other floors which eventually leads to your room. Best not to travel with too much luggage as there is no bell hop or concierge for that matter. Since the sheets were soiled in my room, reception brought me a new sheet so that I could change the bed myself. He said, with a smile, that the rooms are cheap and you get what you pay for. Wifi was only available in the bathroom area of my room. Walls are thin. I returned home to find that my credit card was double charged by the hotel.
