Basic Information
BUYER BEWARE. This place is a scam. Stupidly, I was in a hurry one day and decided to have my oil changed here instead of going to the dealership like I normally do. The laundry list of issues I have had since then has taught me my lesson. First, they used the wrong type of oil for my car which has caused issues. Second, they "over torqued" the bit that screws in the oil pan and completely stripped the bit. I realized this was an issue when oil started to leak everywhere on my driveway. When I brought my car to the dealership, they told me that it was impossible to remove this bit, and the oil pan needed to be replaced as a result. That is when they discovered the incorrect oil was used. I called Oil Depot to inform them of this issue, and the "manager" was very rude and told me "My technicians do this for a living and that did not happen here. If you have an issue, you are to bring it back here, not to a dealership. Now that you've taken it to a dealership, I will not help you." He completely denied it could have possibly been their fault and refused to help me since I had visited a dealership. ALSO, when I had visited Oil Depot, I paid for a complete service, yet, when I took my car to the dealership for the oil issue, they said all my fluids were low and clearly my car had not been serviced. I guess I paid for Oil Depot's technicians to take a lunch break while my car sat in their garage. No matter how much of a hurry you're in, it is NOT worth taking your car to this place.
