Was tonight the first time that Twitter was used to follow someone's life hanging in the balance? It felt really eery to see Troy Davis-related tweets amidst baseball updates and other random and assorted stuff

I didn't realize ol' girl from "Boardwalk Empire" was also in "No Country For Old Men."

I'm all for getting kids to pull their pants up, but it's disingenuous to call this "pro-family, pro-education, pro-jobs"

Factoring in how crazy and dumb the fuckers down in Florida are, I doubt they'll ever listen, and they'll likely clog up local prisons and juvenile detention centers because they got into fights with police over their nasty ass pants. It's better just to publicly shame them for having saggy pants than to have a law.

This could all be made up. And yet somehow it's very easy to envision it going down just as it's described.

Though such a mandate seemingly encroaches ^^^upon one's freedom to express oneself through fashion, an objective view of this imposition upon individuals' rights proves that it is entirely benign due to the fact that the issue of wearing baggy clothing isn't entirely exclusive to the black community.

^^^I also don't give much credence to the notion that using verbage such as "pro-family, pro-education, pro-jobs" and even pro-society is disengenous here because while it may be ridiculous to think that this law alone will yield a larger betterment of Floridian society, we can't ignore the idea that it may be a step in the right direction given the current undeniably harsh socio-economic climate. Moreover, the issue under consideration completely transcends racial divides.

^^^Even though this mandate is ethnically charged because it may happen to predominantly target the black community, one can't neglect the fact that the law transcends race entirely because there also is a segment of white youth who are also being selectively prohibited from wearing "low-slung" clothing.

Best part of Sunday's "Breaking Bad" was the ending...Skyler makes Walt feel small with a devastating line (although not as devastating as THAT line), then the camera pulls back and makes Walt look small. Best episode of the season

Yeah, the car wash guy was the only one Walt was able to get the better of...and that dollar bill stunt was sooooo petty.

Sad, but whichever one did it will probably get away with it. A jury can't convict on eyewitness accounts when the perp has an identical twin who was at the crime scene.
