I also took a trip this spring to the Oregon coast where I had the pleasure of vast beaches all to myself. It was magical and inspiring to me, giving me a new direction in my art. Here's a shot from that trip
I've recently been infatuated with black and white images. I'm finding shots that were originally color but were underwhelming. But conversion to B&W gives an entirely different feel. Here;s one from Pemaquid Point Maine
As I prepare for my Death Valley workshop at the end of the month, I'm going back through some previous images. Many now speak in black and white. Here's one from Zabriskie Point finally with something in the sky, but clear blue.
Just over the bridge from Oregon into Washington are these pilings that just called to me. I was meandering my way up to Port Angeles to attend a workshop with Art Wolfe and the day was kind of gloomy and perfect for some long exposures.
