We are living in an age of hatred. The ambush that resulted in the death of five policemen in Dallas capped off an tragic week in the U.S. From the presidential election to social media and virtually every shooting, hatred has seemed to become the prevailing emotion. The entire country is hurting. At what point... <a href="http://www.chicagonow.com/chicago-sports-lists/2016/07/dallas-tragedy-illustrates-larger-issues/" class="more-link">Read more...

The 2005 White Sox had some amazing moments. Uribe's catch for out #2 in game 4, Aj reaching 1b on the dropped third strike, Konerko grand slam, blum hr and getting out of bases loaded and no outs up one against Boston + Pods walk off in WS game two. How could none of them be on this list?

In 1997, Kansas was 37-1 entering the Sweet 16, they were the prohibitive overwhelming favorite to win the national championship. Arizona had ten regular season losses and finished fifth in the Pac Ten. They defeated Kansas in the Sweet 16, UNC in the Final Four and Kentucky for the National Championship. All three were number one seeds and the three winningest programs of all time. Its a travesty they are not on this list.

So cool and such great memories. My son is eight and just into sports since the Blackhawks run. He said last night he wished it was the White Sox. He was born in Feb 2006, so just missed 2005. He did get to take a picture with me and the trophy at a few months old.

Great montage, but how was Geoff Blum's HR in the 14th inning of game three of the 2005 World Series left out. It gave the White Sox the lead in a game that put them up 3-0 in the series.

If the 2001 game was fixed than the 2005 game must also have been fixed.
