The food has gone downhill since the new ownership. We like other salads besides Greek Salads. Also, your turkey, bacon, ranch wraps should maybe have some bacon on them and skip the some cheap and gross american cheese. Bleh.

What a joke. Was in town with two coworkers and we decided to visit this place. There was no line, so we went in and waited to be seated. We waited for nearly 15 minutes before anyone ever even acknowledged we were there, even though the staff definitely saw us waiting. Our waiter was rude and flippant the entire time. When I got back to the hotel, I checked my account and realized that he overcharged my card even the though the receipt I received at the restaurant was for the correct amount. The food was mediocre. Will never be returning.

Needed a place to meet friends for dinner before a show at the Riverside. The location was perfect, the hostess and wait staff were very attentive, but the food was horrible. Two standouts: the prime rib sandwich was dry and flavorless and the cobb salad was swimming in a pool of water. Won't be back.

I like this place. Pleasant English pub decor. Good American style pub food & excllent steaks at prices that are very reasonable for downtown Milwaukee. View of river & ample parking in high-rise garage above. ($4 evenings & weekends.)

Maybe it's just my old fashioned, Midwestern upbringing-perhaps I'm just not as snooty, or maybe I lack a well trained palate, but I thought this place was great! This past Saturday night, we had a large celebration there with 13 people, and the restaurant and every one of the staff were very accommodating! We tried a few other places around the area, and they either didn't take reservations for that many people or couldn't fit us in, so we booked here, but were hesitant because of the reviews. I couldn't have been happier. The bartenders were happy and helpful, the waiter was awesome and very knowledgeable about every food item and every drink on the menu. We weren't the easiest bunch to deal with either, there were 5 small children, and most of us kept moving around the table to talk and watch the kids, but every time our drinks and food were correct. We ordered from the drinks menu, and appetizers and main menu. And while I probably may have a better prime rib sandwich in my lifetime yet, I had no problems with this one. I don't expect a mind-blowing, life changing sandwich for $11. But what I got was a very good sandwich, with plenty of fries and I did my best to finish it all-and I'm a fat guy who loves to eat. The scotch eggs were awesome, the onion rings were great, and the rest of our meals were consumed without issue. They validated our parking, for three vehicles, and honestly, couldn't have been more nice. If it wasn't for the fact that I despise downtown Milwaukee and the trolls that live there (probably writing previous reviews of this place), I would be certain to visit again!! One thing to note, the actual address is 100 E. Wisconsin, not 100 W Wisconsin as listed.

NEVER COMING BACK. RUDE LYING STAFF / MANAGEMENT AND ROTTEN FOOD!!!! Save your money and your health and eat at the Rock Bottom across the river. Visited this place 3 times. The first 2 times everything went well, not so on the 3rd and last time. The sauce on the food my party including a pregnant woman received was left out in the sun too long and went bad. When we dared to complain the staff first lied about who the manager was and brought some older looking waiter to talk to us. This waiter then proceeded to be extremely rude to us. His attitude was "how dare we bother him with this crap." Then a new would be manager stopped over. According to her there was no manager on duty and she was off the clock and just happened to stop by. She offered us a comp, which we graciously accepted. But just then a rude short little woman showed up from behind the bar and entered her self in the situation. Yelling at us and threatening to call the police she said that she was (get this) the manager and that we have to pay for everything and then leave. After giving us rotten food then lying to us they then yelled at us made it all our fault. Eat at your own risk to your physical and mental health. 33% chance of food poisoning and undue stress are bad odds

Great place for a date. Make sure to ask for a seat either outside or inside by the river at night. Great view of our wonderful downtown. Food is a good value for the money as well as a great drink menu.

This is a British Themed Pub- not a English pub. New Ownership- food and service is improved, stick to the pub burgers and enjoy the view!
