Mobius Storm Light

The Mobius Arch in the Alabama Hills at sunrise. I sat below the arch on this stormy morning getting pelted with rain and wind praying that the clouds in the east would break up to allow some light onto the sierra and the storm clouds. Luckily enough, right at sunrise, light peered through the clouds and illuminated the scene. Too bad Mt. Whitney was shrouded in clouds, but it still made for a beautiful photo none the less.

The results are in! My first quarter back at college in almost three years.... Straight A's. BAM!

Just found out I got picked to be in the Eastern Sierra Land Trust's Art for Conservation show at the G2 Gallery in Venice Beach June 26-Aug 6!

Got my prints back from bay photo yesterday. Did some proofing and was extremely surprised and happy with the results. The colors came out almost dead on between my monitor and the prints. There were some very very slight color differences, so small that I am the only one who would notice and I had to stare at them for a while to find them. Although one difference that stood out to me was the blues. They had a slightly warmer and brighter tone to them than my monitor. An easy fix for the future. Even then the changes in the blue were minor and im probably the only one who would ever notice.

So on that note, I change the photos appropriately to match the colors how I want them, and ordered my first round of Metal prints from Bay. Ive never printed on them, but have seen examples from my buddies in Hawaii and they are truly stunning medium to print on. So I have a 8x12, 2 12x18's, and a 20x30 on the way. Ive had alot of customers wanting to see examples of them so these are going to be my example/display models for customers to see. Super excited.

Was up til past 2am last night editing and re editing photos. I recalibrated my monitor to better represent what my prints were looking like. So today I am ordering 20 8x12's and 7 12x18's to from 3 different printing companies on 3 different papers so I can have an even greater understanding monitor to prints. My prints match my monitor very closely already but this ill be the icing on the cake I believe.
