Anyone unconcerned about the nation’s gang problem should take a quick glance at the Windy City – poster boy for letting gangs take over your communities.

Do you guys know is there is any attention being paid to the threats of rioting from +Barack Obama supporters?  I've heard that there have been threats on Twitter about riots and even threats of assassinating +Mitt Romney if he wins the election, which is a very realistic possibility.

It seems like there should be some pre-emptive actions being taken to find out whether something is actually being coordinated to stop it from happening.

The threat of gang violence in Hampton Roads is real. According to the FBI, a growing number of our nation's youth are taking part in gang related activity. Mistakenly considered a "big city problem," gangs continue to operate and create issues across our region. We're joined on HearSay by authors and law enforcement experts to discuss the ways that communities can take a more active role in combating gang and youth violence.
Listen to the interview with Cathy Lewis of WHRV with authors Bobby Kipper & Bud Ramey, No COLORS: 100 Ways To Stop Gangs From Taking Away Our Communities and Founder, National Center for the Prevention of Community Violence here:

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The problem with gangs, says Bobby Kipper, the former cop who founded the National Center for the Prevention of Community Violence, is that too many people think they’re somewhere far away.

Imagine living in a world where everyone spoke to each other using a normal rate, tone and volume of speech; a world without put-downs, profanity, and threats. If this is the home, school, or business setting that you are seeking, welcome to the GreenZone.
