GREAT question!
While the wealthy still get more big tax cuts, why is the issue of economic inequality suddenly in political vogue. Wake up, Republicans, it's been a serious national problem mostly ignored for more than three decades.

The Linux 4.0 release this week shows some interesting numerology patterns, writes Linus Torvalds in his official release notes. More details on the latest kernel on Linux.com:

"Universities have a responsibility to set an example and lead the way to a sustainable future." Many students and alumni have ramped up their divestment campaigns at universities throughout the U.S. in a movement that is about to take hold.

Life in a free country is about being free to make choices, choices based on your own criteria rather than one mandated by the state.

If there's anything you read – or share – let this be it. The content of this article has potential to radically shift the world in a variety of positive ways. And as Monsanto would love for this article to not go viral, all we can ask is that you share, share, share the information being presented

Sounds logical, right?
Just had a crazy thought...

So a lot of the more extreme anti gunners have this idea that they should call the cops anytime they see a person with a gun, claiming that this makes sense because they don't know if it is a good guy or bad guy, and don't want to wait until shots are fired before taking action...

So they call they very same people who are repeatedly making national headlines for shooting unarmed people...

Your argument is invalid...

Introduction
I am a 50 year old male, married to the greatest woman in the world, Laura. We live in Independence, Missouri, and have five cats. We are both employed as Registered Respiratory Therapists at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri.

I am the current PCLinuxOS Magazine Chief Editor, and an avid supporter and user of PCLinuxOS, a Linux based operating system that is an alternative to Microsoft Windows (and in my opinion, much better and more stable than Windows ever was or will be). Best of all, it's FREE, as in speech and beer. And who wouldn't like a free beer or the ability to speak freely?

Our first child is on the way! Due on or around my birthday, August 25!

Rick, the proprietor of the shop, is very friendly and greeted us right away when we entered the shop. After living in Independence for many years, we actually FORGOT that this place existed, until it showed up on a Google search for local bike dealers. We went there yesterday (July 18, 2012) to check out the place and pick up a few incidental supplies (handlebar tape and a couple of inner tubes). We will definitely return. A huge plus is the proximity to our home. It'll be nice to patronize a friendly local business, rather than having to drive to bike shops located in other municipalities in the Kansas City metro area. As an added bonus, Rick sponsors two weekly bike rides every week during "riding season." Both start @ 1830. On Mondays, there's a faster-paced ride (~20 mph) for intermediate to advanced riders. On Thursday evenings, there's a slower and easier paced ride (Rick calls them "Sleasy" rides -- for slow and easy). A typical "Sleasy" ride is a leisurely ride from the Independence Square (where Peddlers is located) to the Englewood shopping district in Independence, and back to the shop. During Sleasy rides, you ride as a group and no one is left behind. After the ride, many riders gather for pizza and a drink at Square Pizza on the Independence Square. Some riders even hang around for the free outdoor family movie on the Independence Square after that. I will definitely be patronizing this local business a lot more, now that I've rediscovered them! Hours: 10 am to 6 pm M-F, 10 am to 4 pm Sat, Closed on Sunday.
