I'm glad the earth has settled down from those formational cataclysmic calamities...kind of reminds me of my teenage years :)
A must-read about the origins of the first (indigenous) humans that migrated to and populated the west, read Craig Childs latest book: "Atlas of A Lost World" Travels in Ice Age America. It was a time of Great Bears and Wooly Mammoths and the itchy footed people (like you) who explored their way west into North America from Siberia...looking for something better...
