Over the past several years, we’ve witnessed tragedies that have shattered lives, from school and workplace shootings to private family tragedies. Mental illness affects all of us. Across the country, nearly 60 million Americans live with mental illness. Yet a comprehensive mental health bill has not passed through the United States Congress in 40 years.

I don't usually feel comfortable with a woman Ob/Gyn, much less a man, but I am very comfortable around Dr. Oberkrom. That really shows how good he is. I have a reproductive health issue I'd been asking doctors about for an actual decade, and in two appointments, he diagnosed it right away, He did a medical history, looked at current medical issues, asked me questions, and ran some tests. That's really important that he gave me that diagnosis, because now I can work to prevent many more medical issues this could cause in the future. He also noticed a symptom of an unrelated syndrome I didn't even know I had yet, and verbalized his concerns. The syndrome didn't even have anything to do with gynecology, and I was later officially diagnosed with it by a cardiologist. He was the first doctor ever to realize something wasn't normal. I often suffer unrelated chronic pain, and one time came in to the appointment for a well woman check in tears from the (unrelated to gynecology) pain. He didn't do an exam, instead telling me, "Well, believe it or not, I became a doctor to help women, not hurt them." Most doctors wouldn't care how much pain I was already in, or at least most of the doctors I've seen.He really cares about his patients. He even knows about my rare connective tissue syndrome, and how it involves multiple problems. I was in shock when I realized he had actually heard of it, much less knew about it. I asked him how he knew about something so rare and he said he "paid attention in medical school." He's always gentle, polite, and respectful. He admits when he needs to send you to another specialist, instead of the way a lot of other doctors are, who refuse to admit there's anything they don't know. I recommend him to anyone looking for an gynecologist.

Dr. Gardener has always treated me with respect, and is quick to admit what he's made a mistake, which is rare among doctors.

Dr. Beegle is the best psychiatrist I've ever had. I see her for quite a few mental health diagnoses, and she always treats me as an intelligent person I am, and includes me in the decisions on medication. She explains things about my medicines that no other doctor ever has. For instance, there's one medication that I've been on for almost ten years and she's not the first doctor I've seen in those almost ten years while on that medication. The first time I saw her she told me information about that medicine that no other doctor has ever told me. After that my medicine worked much better. I also have physical disabilities as well as mental health issues. She is always considerate of my issues as well.

Deanna Davenport, FNP is a great healthcare provider. You may thank that because she's not an MD she doesn't know as much, but you'd be wrong. She knows more and helps me better than any other doctor ever has for my rare medical condition. I highly recommend her, I've been her patient for many years.

They gave my dog useless treatment until we charged our entire credit card, the whole $400, to try and save our dog's life. When we told them we had no more money they told us to put our dog down. Since she never got proper care from them we were not able to save her and she had to be put to sleep. If we'd just been given a $7 bottle of medicine in the beginning, she may still be alive today. Instead they manipulated us into signing paper work to have her rabies tested after death even though she showed no sign of rabies. We couldn't afford her $300 cremation, so they kept her body and disposed of it in the dump. I would avoid this vet at all costs. They cade only about money, and not about the animals they're supposed to be helping.
