Generally, this looks very promising. But I have gotten rid of Kubuntu since they were trying to force MySQL on my desktop system. All in all, to my taste it has become too fat for my powerful desktop/notebook systems. How can I expect it to be slim enough to work smoothly on my mobile device?
Please, KDE and Kubuntu community, bring us a nice and slim KDE again, not forcing us to install server software on our personal computers. Leave the decision to us, whether we want to index all files in our home directories and if so, which kind of data storage we prefer.
[I have heard that it is possible to install KDE without MySQL, but the packages of Kubuntu have MySQL as a dependency I cannot easily get rid of.]
The Open Source community should try to work on one project in order to become the third player on the mobile market now dominated by two players only instead of trying to get four systems into it: Firefox, Ubuntu, Sailfish and KDE.
