Hi Doug, thank you for sharing your concerns. Unpaid companies can request an investigation on a negative review the same as paid members, we process those requests all the time. It's important to note than when we investigate a review we are looking for proof that a transaction occurred between the review writer and the company, so that we know the review is from a real customer. That's all we check, the content of the review is considered an opinion and we don't arbitrate the details of the review in any way. Besides company requests to investigate reviews, there is also a number of verifications that are done randomly every day that can be done on either positive or negative reviews.
