Marg Jank, missionary translator among the Yanomami people living in Latin America, used her gifts and abilities to see God's Word made freely available. But sometimes obstacles get in the way. One of those obstacles is literacy rates amongst the people group. Literacy is core to NTM church planting efforts, but many haven't been able to go through literacy classes. To bridge the gap and allow the life-sustaining Words of God to be effective, the team working to disciple the Yanomami church have developed a Bible that "talks" to the people. Will you help by praying that the funds can be raised for these to fully be available?

New Tribes missionaries are not only teaching the Bible chronologically to unreached people groups, but are also training other organizations to use Firm Foundations Bible lessons. The chronological difference: http://go.ntm.org/Ok8VGy

Like the water cycle that has been the rule of nature since creation, God's Word follows a cycle, going forth, producing fruit, and returning glory to the God from whom it came!

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. - Isaiah 55:10-11 ESV

Happy Friday and have a great long weekend! We're anticipating some exciting things next week as we launch in to 2017...

Concerned that their missionary may not return, the Mengen people wrote a letter: "We would like Lourens Laureti to stay with us until he dies..."  See the letter:
