"Go home, tell your neighbours, tell everybody, that we should not allow this nation to break to pieces, we will stick together. We have an inoculation which will prevent the disease of splitting this nation. This inoculation is the Walk of Hope. Please keep these seeds fresh in your heart. "

“So this is our life, let’s find ourselves. Let’s be kind to others, be good to people, do as much seva as possible to all living beings because there’s nothing better than seva. And, unless you do seva, your mind cannot be purified and unless your mind is purified, the Song of the Lord cannot be heard inside, which is the real meaning of Shabad, the Song of the Lord. And, it is ‘anahat’, it is heard from inside.”

What you’re doing here for the differently abled children, is something else. The doctor sitting here perhaps knows this, that treating normal patients is one thing and treating these kids is another. These kids sitting here, their joys and sorrows are difficult to comprehend. The one who understands them and tries to serve them, I consider them to be God. Not God-like but God, because these kids are Gods. When I return from the yatra, I’d like to spend some time here and serve these kids.”

"Amritsar derives its name from the beautiful lake of the same name around which the Harmandir Sahib or Golden Temple of the Sikhs has been built. Half a millennium old, this lake harbours fishes and thousands have their ritual bath in the pond before offering worship at the temple."

"Unfortunately, sometimes we think that we are different from others. Remember that we are all human beings, who breathe, who drink, who eat and who die. Of course we love each other, sometimes we hate also and then we die. So we stand on a common ground. And all our religious teachings are meant to make us better not worse. This is the reason to teach especially, youngsters like you, because the future of this nation is in your hands. We might have committed some mistakes, but you should not."

“Since I’m at  Shakti Peeth, I will say the same thing a little differently. I would say that the universal energy – which is called Para Shakti – is also the Shakti that resides in every human being and that Shakti has no discrimination of caste, creed, religion. Everybody has it; whether you recognise it or not, it’s there. It is this energy which we have to activate."

" The activities started with a tree plantation drive under the stewardship of religious leader and environmentalist, Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal. It was a matter of great joy to the padayatris that the trees planted by them would form part of a garden in the park, adjacent to the Sultanpur Lodhi Railway Station. The Sant has amazing achievements to his credit, like the de-weeding and cleaning of the holy river Kali Bein, the effluent treatment and similar activities."

It’s our responsibility to preserve this great tradition, to preserve this unity in this country because there might be external forces trying to break it and if we break our own houses, how can we sort out these problems? We have to do this in schools, colleges, my house and then the neighbour’s."This is just a humble attempt at trying to convince people that we will not let the unity break and we will keep this Bharat, unified and together.”

"The evening program at the DAV Public School witnessed one of the ‘standouts’ of the Padayatra. The students and teachers of the school attempted a dramatic presentation of Sri M’s autobiography and came out with flying colours. To see all the characters of the book come alive was a special moment for all those who had read the book, bringing tears of joy to many eyes."
