I like how you always find the magic and joy even in menial tasks around the farm. Have a wonderful Happy New Year at Novmber Hill!

Loved this post about anchoring. I have no idea where the center is on our farm but I'm sort of like you and your chair.  If I pull my chair out and put it at the entrance to the front doors flanked on each side by the cherry trees I feel anchored too. It's my spot to watch the horses in the paddock closest to the barn and enjoy their antics.

The bridle sounds wonderful too.

Loved your essay on the wild horses. Very well done. I've done a few posts on this also a very long time ago. I think it's such a shame what we in this country are doing to our heritage concerning these horses. They should be protected and there was a bill passed to do just that. Unfortunately, no one in Washington knows or cares what is happening to these beautiful animals. The BLM is certainly responsible for a lot of the deaths and destruction of these herds. Then again there has to be someone in Washington giving them the thumbs up to carry on the way they do. The cattle lobbyists seem to hold a lot of sway and they do have the money to get their way.

Thank you for nomination me for the Liebster Award I appreciate it and feel honored that you chose me.  However, I've already received it and don't feel it would be fair of me to take it again. Please consider giving it to someone else. Thanks again for the nomination.

Wonderful to be able to watch a morning show of grace and beauty from your kitchen window!

Gorgeous picture.

You've made the mundane chore of pitching night time hay sound not like a chore at all.  If only we all could find the beauty of the normal sights around us like you have.

Good idea. We have a lot of hunters in the woods around our property. I always worry about the horses. Our "gun" hunting season opened this week before that it was "bow hunting". I can't wait for it to be over.
