Why is successful marketing like alchemy?
The medieval alchemist’s goal was to take a raw material and through the
use of a catalyst, distill it to its pure essence. In marketing, the
raw material is what makes you great. The pure essence is how you
benefit your clients. And the catalyst is emotion. The benefit you
provide must resonate at an emotional level for potential clients to
take action. This is where I work.
