Ocean Nation community will clean a beach and play for a day! We've chosen a beach that is remote and unprotected. We'll meet up around 9 and start cleanup around 10 am. After cleanup we'll picnic and play!

Have a different beach you love? Put a group together with your friends and family for a beach day. Here's all the info you'll need: http://www.coastal.ca.gov/publiced/ccd/join.html

WHAT TO WEAR
Closed-toed shoes
Sunscreen
A hat
An extra layer, like a sweater or jacket in case it is cold. Be prepared to be outside in potentially changing weather for at least half a day.

WHAT TO BRING
A signed waiver (http://www.coastal.ca.gov/publiced/ccd/waiver.pdf)
A bucket or reusable bag
Gloves (like gardening gloves or leather work gloves)
A reusable water bottle
Pack a waste-free lunch! Coastal Cleanup Day ends at noon at most locations, which makes for a great opportunity to have lunch at the beach or creek! Just be sure to leave your lunch spot cleaner than when you arrived.
(Optional) A clipboard might be helpful as you fill out your data card
(Optional) A camera to document what you find.

All volunteers must have a signed waiver. Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian's signature as well. If you are not able to bring a signed waiver, Elizabeth England will have them available at the site.
Bring Your Own and help us cut down on the trash that we create at the Cleanup! To find out more about our efforts to reduce waste, visit the BYO page.
