Paul, think you're absolutely spot on. I worry that the decision taken is more about pushing for easy and quick change rather than what's good for the future of the festival. Public engagement is key, I still don't accept that Golowan is solely the business of the town council and no one else.

Michael you may well be absolutely correct and things do need to change but should this decision be the councils alone, deliberated in private and hurried along because the staff wanted to lock up the building. I don't think so. All of the strengths and weaknesses need to be aired in public and a way forward found that the public agree with, whatever that might be.
