I'm David Gosse, an executive and the founder of a vertical search engine software company – Vortaloptics, Inc. I've raised millions in startup funding from an extremely loyal group of Angel Investors who continue to support my endeavors. I love the search industry and only see things growing for many years to come.
I like big projects and problem solving. I'm always the "go-to" person when people need answers. I like working with smart people who care as much about accomplishing goals as I do. I do everything to the best of my ability while practicing the golden rule. Treat others as you would like to be treated and the world will be a better place.
My first search patent was awarded to me in 2008. A second patent for my search technology was also just awarded to me in October of 2009. A third search patent is still pending. Most of my patents have PCT applications into other countries such as China. Since my search technology enables the administrator to control the results in the SERP's, I think there will be a large demand for the technology in China where information is still censored. I like officially being an inventor and thank the great people that helped me accomplish this.
I recently sold one of the divisions of my vertical search company that markets our vertical search technology to the property management industry (apartment industry). Now I am focusing on developing new markets for the application of vertical search solutions. There is so much opportunity in search.
My first venture into the social media world was with the launch of a username web application called Namechk.com. The site has been featured on TV on CNN and written about on Mashable, CNET and many other popular tech blogs.
I am really liking social media and have a number of other sites in development at this time. If only there were more hours in the day. I have so many ideas. I hope I can make a few more of them become reality.
