When talking about #Montilla-Moriles wines from the province of #Cordoba, people usually compare them with #sherry #wines, because they have some things in common, but I think it is a mistake

#Aracena is one of my most visited places in #Andalusia. It is the name of the mountainous northern region in the province of #Huelva and also the name of the largest town in the area. The best #Iberian #ham is produced here, in the #dehesas, among very small #rural towns.

Today, 4th of December, is the non official Day of #Andalusia, so this year I want to celebrate it with a little bit of #fun… with Andalusian #flags! In Sheldon Cooper style.

Every 1st of November, the #cemetery is extremely beautiful, with colorful #flowers all around. Apart from that, it is very impressive to see a lot of women cleaning all the #graves. I think for them it is a way to take care of their family. Like my aunt who, very moved, says in the video this is the way of taking care of her father as she did before he died.

#Vejer de la Frontera is a hilltop town in the province of #Cadiz, close to the Strait of #Gibraltar, around 200 metres above sea level. The old part is very well conserved and it contains a lot of ancient churches and convents within a labyrinth of white-washed houses, narrow winding streets and stone pavement. It is one of the most picturesque #whitevillages

Fiedrich Schatz is the first #wine maker of #Ronda after the phylloxera pest in 1878. They produce #organic and #biodynamic wines and nowadays they are 6: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Acinipo, Finca Sanguijuela, Petit Verdot and Rosado. All of them are single varietal, except for Finca Sanguijuela, and all the grapes are raised and harvested in the vineyards of the finca.

It is said that the people from #Cadiz have a lot of "salero", which in English it would be something similar as been a vivacity person or a person who shows panache. It is possible to hear also they are "salaos" or salty people, which means witty, charming or amusing. The thing is that actually in Cadiz there is a lot of #salt.

When walking through the intricate streets of the #Albaicin of #Granada we can see a lot of beautiful tiles in the houses with the name of “#Carmen de…”. They are historical houses of this neighborhood whose origin dates back from Al-Andalus period.
