When I tried to fire up my 9 year old pool heater in advance of Grand Daughters birthday swim party I found it would not start. Called Kevin at Active Pool and, explaining my dilemma, he was able to get to get Joe out that afternoon. After diagnosis, decided to replace heater with new Pentair Mastertemp 400. Joe and Kevin worked their schedule so heater could be installed in time to support the pending party. Good news! Bad new was that when new heater was installed on time as scheduled, it did not work properly. It was cycling on and off and would not run consistently. Kevin immediately contacted Pentair and they sent out their warranty tech to diagnose heater. He replaced internal electronic board but heater still would only cycle on and off as above. Pentair tech reported back to Pentair and they came back asking that I check my gas valve to ensure it was a "full flow" valve.....this in spite of the fact that it was the same valve that had been there for the nine years previous with the exact same model heater. Kevin followed up with me the same afternoon as the Pentair people were there and when I told him what had happened, he said to let him handle it directly with Pentair. He felt the heater was detective and should be completely replaced with a new one, which, at his own decision and risk, is what he did. He also took me completely out of the middle between him, Pentair and Pentair's repair tech. Kevin's active intervention and support resulted in a quick resolution and is the exact type of support and customer service one would hope to receive but so often does not. He pro-actively made my problem with the new heater and Pentair his problem and solved it immediately and to my complete satisfaction. PS>>Pool was heated and the party was a success.

Went with a group of 5 for a late lunch. Everybody had something different but the only thing consistent was that nobody liked their food. Staff was friendly, portions were large but the food was just not up to par. Definitely a place to pass up.
