Amazing resort! The amazingly friendly staff at the coffee bar remembers your name and always creates a pleasant beginning to the day. The golf courses are the perfect mix of beautiful yet challenging, and the view of the Atlantic is very tough to beat. Can't wait to return again soon!

I went with many family members for the Memorial day weekend. The accommodations were very nice, maid service was fine but check in service took about 20 minutes. Still not too bad. The major problem was that the hotel seemed to be fully booked. As such, there were no chairs available at the beach after 10:30 and no chair available at the pool. I complained to no avail. Couldn't they at least rent some chairs for the peak periods? Seems pretty basic to me. If you can't service your guests then don't book the rooms. This happened when we went two years ago but we thought that they would have learned by then. They did not but I have now learned to stay somewhere else that can better accommodate the masses over a holiday period. It is too bad because the place is nice but why go to a beach resort and be unable to use the beach or even the pool. You have to wonder about the management of this resort but all of the employees could not have been nicer.

Racist staff and rude concierge. Had to wait for a room after watching five families go straight to theirs. Not "People" friendly...No one spoke or greeted me. This place is not my fav.

We have been patrons for the past three years at the restaurants, Delphino's, Atlantic Grill, Loggerheads, and upstairs sushi bar as well as the hotel spa. I have had no negative or any question to show a room key to allow my presence. Fifty different employees have told us the facility is open to the public with a visa or mastercard, and they accept cash gratuities of course. The kind employees whom I have had past experiences with have always accepted the presence and possible continued future revenue and gratuities.....Today a completely different experience occurred with an employee named Cody and his co-worker named Ken who reported himself as a supervisor seem to be controlled by some members who were at the pool area . It saddens me to know that such miserable people exist to cause such negative atmosphere. Why don't these people use their wealth and power to feed and help the poor children who need help rather than complain and continue their misery on others. I Was planning to have my wedding ceremony and reception to be held at Hammock Beach Resort due to this is where I met the love of my life and my happiness, that has been changed and will be looking some other place for this happy day to take place. We are hopeful that the staff can be corrected as to the proper conduct and behavior consistent with a up scale resort which is, according to the free land to build upon agreement to remain open to the public that supports the facility in the low seasons, as we have spent thousands of dollars at the above stated establishments over the last several years. Take note waiters and fellow staff, Cody and Ken just cut your pay for the next few months. Maybe they can get a little sensitivity training on their time to help increase the revenue for all affected. Hopefully the kindness and happiness at Hammock Beach Resort can reappear..... Best of luck......

Broken garbage disposal, air conditioner leaked water, and the wifi didn't work. The worst part of the stay was the rules and regulations. You're suffocated by the airs this place attempts to put on. Waste of money.

My family and I were looking forward to a close resort for a week long getaway before the kids went back to school. We had high expectations for this resort and it was a major disappointment. It took us about an hour and 15 minutes between the time we arrived and finally got to our room. When we walked from the lobby to a conference are to get to our tower, the smell of musty carpet almost knocked us over. It was horrible. We had to take that route every day. The second day were there we found that the button on the elevator up to our floor was GONE! Yes, just GONE. We had to walk up a dark and dingy stairwell with my family late at night to get to the second floor to take the elevator. The staff and management were aloof and never once followed up on any problem we had. We have seen many resorts in this price range and this was the worst we have seen. The resort is also in dire need of a massive renovation. The decor is a bit bizarre for a beach resort, who ever heard of a dark wood Tuscan decor for an ocean front resort? Avoid this place, don't waste your money.
