Seems quite nice sofar!
I've just bought it and I'll likely use it to complement some OE / YP trainings.

The Yocto Project is proud to sponsor an internship for the GNOME Foundation's Outreach Program for Women for the 2nd year. This program enables women to apply to spend several months working with a mentor on the project to create real software and participate in a very active open source community.

Please pass this message on to anyone you know who might be interested.

The Yocto Project gets funky with the new Galileo board from Intel and Arduino - cross-compilers for Mac and Windows. What could possibly be next after that?

Just a reminder that Intel is still running the Yocto Project Innovation Challenge, an incredibly easy contest in which you come up with embedded ideas and people vote on them. Note that you do NOT need to build the device you envision! (At least not yet!)

Srsly, take a look and win valuable prizes:

The +Yocto Project is pleased to announce a Developer Day event at ELCE, the Embedded Linux Conference Europe organized by +The Linux Foundation and co-located with LinuxCon Europe. This year, ELCE is in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Developer Day, or DevDay, is scheduled for Wednesday, 23 October, 9am - 6pm at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre in downtown Edinburgh. This is a full day of Yocto Project content, including separate tracks for new users and advanced users, and a hands-on lab session for each. We are particularly pleased with the labs this year, as they will be presented via our new virtual private cloud - just bring your laptop and a willingness to learn.

DevDay is free for LinuxCon EU or ELCE attendees. If you are not attending either conference, you can still attend DevDay for US$199, or about £129. Register for DevDay along with ELCE or LinuxCon, or if you are registering separately, you can use this link:
https://www.regonline.com/ypddeu13

A schedule for DevDay will be announced next week.

Hope to see you there!

Sorry if you see this twice - I posted once to the account's page and once to the G+ community. I wonder if they overlap completely.

Only two more weeks until the Yocto Project Developer Day at the Embedded Linux Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is an all-day mini-conference with two tracks, all about the Yocto Project and embedded Linux development, with hands-on labs featuring our new virtual private cloud server (bring a laptop).

And did I mention that it's free for ELCE attendees? Who said there's no free lunch? (For non-attendees it's only $199)

If you haven't signed up yet, better do so while there is still time:

This is a test to see who reads the G+ "community" and who reads the page. (Personally I most often read the page.)

A few interesting things going on in the Yocto Project world:

- The Yocto Project presents a Developer Day at +The Linux Foundation Embedded Linux Conference, October 23 in Edinburgh. This event is free if you are also attending ELCE or LinuxCon EU, and will feature hands-on labs as well as presentations by Yocto Project engineers, and maybe a few special features as well. More info at https://www.yoctoproject.org/tools-resources/events/yocto-project-developer-day-elce-2013 - Intel is sponsoring a Yocto Project challenge for design ideas, with prizes!
