God bless you for all your efforts. I've always had a love for elephants after being with them in India as a girl when my dad, a career marine, was stationed in India. So gentle, inquisitive and SMART. It's almost like they knew what I was thinking. They were raised by the monks there I believe and lived wild but came every day for the attention, love and treats of course. This was not a tourist stop, kind of off the beaten trek. I wish I remembered more but my parents have since passed away and my brother was too young to remember much. I was 11 yrs old so I've got some lovely memories but was so sad to leave my friends when it came time to be transferred to France, then finally Germany and HOME!

What a beautiful baby. Look at that precious little face! Congratulations!
For all those nits out there who just wanted to see some 'goodies' sorry to disappoint but that gets old awfully fast.  I was at the market with my 10 month old who was old enough to just try and pull up my shirt (not a stupid kid) to go for lunch.  This one time I was followed by this one little old man who followed us up every single isle and stopped when I stopped and stayed the same distance but it didn't matter if I doubled back an isle or two, he was right there.  I'd finally had enough and turned around and really let him have it.  He tried to deny it but I told him I'd got him doing so on my cell (even though I didn't) & if he didn't get the hell away from me I was gonna call the cops! The  little S.O.B. turned as red as a beet and practically bolted out of the store!  Saw him in there again about a week or so later.  He saw me coming and disappeared so fast I had to laugh.  I guess there are times when it's worth it to lose your temper.
Nursing mothers also have a little problem in the beginning with leaking particularly when they hear a baby cry. The let down reflex is not yet well established and the mess can be well, very wet!  Another grocery store memory.  My second son was about 3 weeks old and I was just coming from grabbing some bacon and such when a kind older woman stopped me and told me my milk was leaking.  Well, total embarrassment and I immediately crossed my arms over my chest and just squeezed & pushed down which will usually stop it. Well this poor little lady is looking like me like I'm some kind of an idiot because she says, mam, the milk in your CART!!  Here it was the gallon of milk I'd picked-up a couple of isles back had left a line of milk which could have been used to locate me had I gotten lost!
God Bless you and all the best for your beautiful family.

What impressed me the most is the low number of 'moronic' or 'idiotic' pseudo-questions which have been placed there by people who have nothing better to do so they put questions such as "what is the sum of 2+2=x?'
I've visited a couple of other similar sites however, Answers takes it up a notch & that in itself is deserving of respect.  Just as our parents always taught us, respect is EARNED!  Well, Answers has earned mine!
Keep it up folks, you really do provide a valuable resource for all & the few nitwit's who visit the site with the sole intent of behaving like simpletons will eventually go away provided they are completely ignored!  It's no fun if they argue with thin air! Unless they begin answering themselves which could actually prove amusing!
