This place WAS the best place for milkshakes. But the last 3 times Ive gone they have been getting worse and worse. They used to be thick and flavorful! But now they taste like slightly sweetened milk!!!! I don't know if the owners just don't care to train the new staff correctly or if they are being cheap. But when milks shakes from McDonald's taste better then it's time to stop going! I won't be going back again!

There attitudes are horrible, as if they do not want to work, great place to eat and there milkshakes are great, but they kill it all with how they serve and there customer service!

Suzies USED to be a great place to eat, NO MORE I ordered what was supposed to be a "turkey club" tonight and it arrived on DRY, STALE bread that had a faux toasted appearance, almost ZERO mayonnaise, and something that attempted to look like turkey, but was nothing more than cheap cold-cuts, probably out of the bargain cooler at Aldi. Now let's talk about cleanliness: there are cobwebs and grease everywhere. Second: let's talk about the food: - the crap they put on the fries is not salt, but some totally inedible chemical that tastes like crap - the ice cream they use for the shakes and malts is filled with chunks of ice and doesn't have any resemblance to the taste of ice cream. - when you ask for a MALT, there is ZERO malt taste - saving money? Third: let's talk about PRICE: I can go to the Hollywood Restaurant, on North and Ashland, have FREE PARKING, and SIT DOWN, getting the same food at a MUCH BETTER QUALITY and much LOWER PRICE. It's also a LOT CLEANER! Finally: let's talk about the older woman who's behind the counter: SHUT UP AND GET OUT OF THE WAY - quit telling your staff to clean up the joint and bring in a cleaning service. quit micromanaging them.

I was introduced to this place back in the 80s as a little boy. I can't believe that it's still around. But it really is a shell of its former self. The food is pre-frozen, the fries (although good) are just left in the fry baskets waiting to be cooked in oil that hasn't been changed since who knows when, bugs everywhere...I mean, they're trying to please everyone but not be good on a few items. There comes a time when it's time to hang it up and it maybe soon for these guys

Although I love their cheese fries, do not get the edible bowl. It has a stale taste to it.

The food is so-so, iffy at times. I went there during the day for a gyro, and the meat was from a pre-packaged bag - not sliced off the large turning meat cylinder like we know and love. The gyro was not good. It was skimpy on the meat (the pre-packaged meat, no less), but the rest was okay. Fries were good, crispy, looked like they were either fresh cut or minimally processed. Susie's will do in a pinch, but there are other great gyros places nearby, if that's what you're looking for.
