John Waite: Dylan runs an excellent tour of SF, which my wife and I took on our recent visit to the Bay area. Our tour guide was Rolando -- I still can't trill the "R" in Rolando -- a truly knowledgeable SF native, an entertaining host and a courteous driver (which is the kind you want when negotiating steep, curvy roads!). After several days of bad weather, we enjoyed a superb sunny February day for our tour -- which Dylan made possible by kindly allowing us to change our tour reservation date only a day before. (Thanks again, Dylan!) During our 6+ hour journey, our group of travelers (I think nine in all) were introduced to many of the city's neighborhoods, including North Beach, Chinatown, the Mission, Twin Peaks, the Haight, the Presidio, and more, plus a drive across the Golden Gate Bridge for lunch in Sausalito and a walk in the Muir Woods. Traveling in Dylan's minibus for a personalized tour of San Francisco is so much better than anything a large tour bus can offer. So if you're going to San Francisco, Dylan's your guy for a great introduction to the city. But you'll have to get a little lucky to get a day like we had!
