This was my first trip across Tioga Pass. I entered Yosemite park right after sunset so I ended up making the trip across the High Sierra mountains in the dark. Thankfully, I did some homework and received some great tips from a fellow photographer friend +Ben Neumann
before making the trip to identify a couple target locations for my bucket list including Tenaya Lake. It was pitch black when I parked the car after arriving at Tenaya Lake. I walked across the road to discover one of the most stunning scenes I’ve ever seen. The Milky Way was so incredibly bright it was perfectly reflected and the surrounding stars were glimmering on the motionless lake.
