You must be able to manage appointment schedule, shop flow, and supervise technicians. Continuing education is a must in this position. We are asking for EVERYONE to help us and ALL of the auto repair facilities/shops/garages in the state of WV. House Bill 2882 was introduced to the House Roads and Transportation committee on 3/9/17. This bill is proposing to change the WV State Inspection laws which will not only increase the amount of unsafe vehicles on our roads, but also, will directly affect all of the automotive repair shops and thousands of jobs. It may sound like a great way to trim a little off of the budget and people may not like State Inspections, but would you prefer NO monitoring of unsafe vehicles on our roads?
The benefits of the proposed changes have not been expalined, but no matter what the reasons, they are NOT worth our safety and our jobs!
