FINAL WEEK: VATICAN SPLENDORS
*Exhibit Closing August 28, 2016*

Now at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley, one of the largest Vatican collections to ever tour the United States! With over 12,000 sq ft of exhibition space, the exhibit includes an extraordinary array of religious objects from the first century onward. Featured artists include Michelangelo, Bernini and Guercino among others. Don't miss out on seeing these treasures, including many objects that have never been on display in North America!

This exhibit will be on display at the de Young Museum in San Francisco as part of the museum's dedication to showcasing fashion as art. Featuring over 100 ensembles crafted by famed High Fashion designer Oscar De La Renta, this exhibit will be displayed for a limited time!

CLOSING EXHIBIT: Sublime Beauty
*Open Now thru April 10, 2016*

Raphael's "Portrait of a Lady with a Unicorn" (ca. 1505–1506) is currently featured at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. The exhibition will explore the possible identity of the subject, as well as the painting’s distinct iconography, including the unicorn she holds in her lap. The exhibition also highlights the stylistic relationships between this masterpiece and Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.

In honor of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, this week's featured Wishbook 2016 item is the Wheelchair Lift for the Pius Christian Museum.

After more than 10 years of reliable functioning, the existing wheelchair lift has begun to falter and is in need of replacement. Please consider adopting this project by contacting your local Patrons Chapter.

FINAL WEEK // EXHIBIT: THE RED THAT COLORED THE WORLD
*Closing February 21, 2016*

Now open at the Bowers Museum in Orange County, The Red that Colored the World chronicles the aftermath of when Spanish explorers in 16th-century Mexico discovered the American cochineal bug, which was used to create a red dye more brilliant than ever seen before.

This exhibit of over 100 objects explores the history of cochineal, the seductive visual nature of red, and the unique international uses of color, revealing its role in the creative process.
