#albumtheme : Using Leading Lines in your Composition

Leading Lines are one of the most commonly used compositional element by photographers. These leading lines can be formed by sand (as seen in this photograph from Death Valley), by sandstones in Coyotes Buttes, by mud cracks in Slot Canyons, by bacterial mats in Yellowstone National Park and by rivers and creeks. Human brains have evolved to respond to these leading lines...and often time forms the leading lines when there are none by just connecting similar elements (as seen the example from Bisti Wilderness in the gallery below.)

I have arranged first 15-20 photographs in my gallery to showcase leading lines used as compositional element in landscape photographs.
