I have been a fan since the 80's, you went through a time when I didn't like what you were doing, but you always know what you are doing. You are an amazing woman. Love this song. And you look awesome!
It was just a regular Sunday for Cpl. Nathan Cirillo. He stood tall before the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, unmoved by a photographer snapping his picture. Little did he know that he would soon bring a nation together in mourning.
By now I'm sure you guys have heard about, or are soon to hear about, Robin Williams' suicide. I know that this is a music centric page but Robin Williams did what we try to do here - he made other people feel better even while he was battling himself.
When I was a kid, my favorite movie was Jumanji. I loved it. Everything Robin did - I laughed. He was magic. He was still a little kid in there, you could tell - you could feel it. I've loved so many of his movies. RV, Night at the Museum, Hook, August Rush - good guy or bad guy, he always stole the show.
We lost someone very, very good today. But he's proof that even if you have depression, even if you're fucked up - you can still make a difference. You still matter.
People still love you.
So please, if you've never seen his movies or if you're crying like me, just take a moment, make a wish - Peter Pan's gone home.
Why are men so intimidated by 50 Shades of Grey or other books of that nature? It is not like they are being compared in any way. And if they actually read the books, they would see that there is more to them than just sex. There is a love story, with trials and tribulations, as it is in real life. I also feel that the books are so popular because women have been so strong for so long that sometimes they would like someone else to take a small bit of control, without losing their right to chose. And there is also the passion aspect of it...most of us are so busy all the time that the passion is lost. Gone are the days of a steamy hello kiss that leads straight to dessert People are just too busy and too tired to deal with that much anymore
