For an iconic local pizza restaurant, I'd expect a quality pizza for $28. Our large two topping pizza was definitely not worth the price. We have been there before to order individual slices, which are much better tasting.

Sick of going to the usual restaurants we decided to try Tony and Alba's here in Capitola California. The buffalo chicken wings were greasy and there was just a tiny bit of chicken on each wing. My girlfriend had the spinach salad which she said was good. We ordered two pizzas the first was the Tony's special the second was a margarita pizza. I was not impressed with the crust on either pizza. The margarita pizza was edible however the combination pizza will end up getting fed my dog. The interior and decor was extremely rundown. I was told the quarter machine didn't work for the small video arcade. After obtaining quarters from the cash register we tried to play video games most of the machines were not working which management was obviously aware of since there was a no refunds sign tape to the doorway. The room in which all the arcade machines are kept was extremely rundown with a scummy floor and holes in the sheetrock. The highlight of the visit was when my two year old stuck her hand inside one of the holes in the sheetrock where there was probably rats living! We spent close to $50 for this meal... Next time I'm calling dominos paying half as much money and getting better pizza and wings.

Tony & Alba's is the only GOOD pizza I've ever had in California. It's not over-the-top greasy and disgusting like most places out in these parts...and the cheese doesn't fall off as soon as you take the first bite. The sauce is delicious, the right blend of herbs, cooked just right. YUM! This is northeast-style pizza. They also have a nice selection of toppings. And you can't beat the location right next to a movie theatre.
