Aquarium with sharks, penguins, stingray touch tanks, a wild dolphin cruise & a water playground.- Google
"The facilities are clean and they have an upgraded stingray touch tank."
"Oh and to cap it all off, a very high priced gift shop and snack bar."

Well it wasn't bad, had to wait in the heat to buy a ticket, then put in another line inside, had some cool things but felt disorganized, the map was a help but taking the steps 1-2-3 we had to back track to see #3, several times we were asking"now where do we go and how do we get out of here." Arrows sent us outside to view sharks but it was inside. Anyway we enjoyed it, BUT FOR 23.00 each, we spent 69.00 for 1.5 hours, really would like them to price it like this... 23.00 1st adult, 15.00 second adult, kids 0-18 10.00. This is 48.00 which is still pretty high for my family in 1.5 hours. Won't be returning.

$6 All day parking 😊 .. the park is extremely educational & fun. They have sand lots and water areas for kids to play. The food in the cafeteria is awesome! Great experience.

Don't waste your time or money. the staff is rude and not much to see. I have to agree that going to the beach is more fun than seeing sickly looking , poor kept fish. This place has potential, but the rude staff brings it down.

I am really disappointed that a Family Friendly attraction would host a pro abortion event "Roe on the Rocks". You promote protecting the environment and endangered species yet you would open your venue to a group that promotes killing innocent babies. I know it is legal to do so but it is certainly not moral. How as a parent am I to explain to my children why you would support an organization that profits from murdering voiceless babies? You can be sure that The Florida Aquarium will no longer receive my patronage and I will no longer recommend to family, friends and acquaintances your attraction as a family friendly and a worthy cause to support. I hope you search your heart and listen to your conscience and do the right thing.

If you have been to any other aquarium such as Chattanooga or Atlanta, do not waste your time and money. You would see more by going to the beach. They do not have any sharks and hardly have any salt water marine life! Very dissatisfied. The dolphin cruise is another waste. You can go on the smell thing out of John's Pass for a quarter of the price with free beverages.

You will not spend all day here. You may barely spend half a day here. But what you will see is well laid out, great facilities, and superior to the Clearwater aquarium in every aspect not dolphin related. Easy and plentiful parking. Lots of room to handle the crowds. A wide variety of exhibits. My 5 and 7 year olds loved it.

I would give the whole experience a C+. It's a good place for kids to go. The aquarium itself is rather modest. I had really expected it to be much larger. A lot of it was devoted to Florida's interior marshy and swamp lands. Sea life was under represented. There were sharks and a lot of rays but considering Florida has almost 1400 miles of coastline I thought there would a large display of sea creatures. It was interesting, just not on the scale I expected. The outdoor water play area was actually the funnest part for my kids (all under 4). No pools or swimming, just sprinklers and water guns. My wife found a discount online so our admission price was fairly reasonable through a third party website. The online discount on the aquarium's site is only a couple of bucks off. Otherwise I think the admission is a bit pricey for what it is. The food was awful and expensive. I mean it was really bad. The cheeseburger was obviously made from soy, not meat and not palatable. The panini sandwich was pre-made, probably frozen at some point and horrible. I don't know how they make such simple dishes taste so bad. And you'll pay and least twice as much as you should. Avoid the snack bar. AVOID THE SNACK BAR! Pack some snacks or eat your sock, it can't be any worse than the food. This was a one and done adventure for us. Next time we'll skip the aquarium and just hit a water park.
