+Alex Smith Well you see, once upon a time the gnome team made something extremely flexible that could do whatever you wanted. Then one day they started the GNOME3 project, and suddenly decided that they had The One True Way (TM) (borrowed with permission from Apple), and fuck you if you think you feel differently.
