Check out this MODG grad sighting off the coast of Florida immediately after Hurricane Irma! Paul, Class of 2015 and Informations Technician 2nd Class Petty-Officer with the USS Tornado, stayed aboard ship during Irma as part of a skeleton crew. He's second from the right in the picture. Thank you for your service, Paul, and we are grateful for your safety!

Wow! We are so blessed by the generosity shown by our families and friends of the school. We've met our goal, thanks to you all! =)

We'll continue to accept funds, as there will be many families to aid. Please keep praying for our families in Florida and the Caribbean as they come back to assess the damages to their homes.

Please help support our MODG families as they recover from Hurricane Harvey, and in anticipation of the damages coming from Hurricane Irma to our families in the Caribbean and Florida. May Our Mother of Divine Grace wrap her mantle around all those affected!

"Today's feast invites us to entrust ourselves to Mary assumed into heaven who, like a shining star from heaven, directs our daily journey on earth." -St. John Paul II

Another article to help prepare for the beginning of the school year!

"We get our principles for authentic Catholic home schooling from Christ's closing directive to His apostles: 'To teach all nations' – that's the mind – 'to observe all that I have commanded you' – that's with the will. Home schooling, therefore, addresses itself to the mind in order that the will might be motivated to do God's will. It is the teaching and training of children at home that distinguishes it from teaching and training in formal school situations."

Update on Gabe: The tumors have been diagnosed, and unfortunately are cancerous, Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The treatment plan is in place, and will take place over 4 months. Although an aggressive type of cancer, this also means it responds well to treatment, so your prayers are just as important for the upcoming months!

If you want to get more frequent updates, please join the Gabe's Got This group on Facebook!

Please storm Heaven for Gabe, an MODG 4th grader, who was found unresponsive yesterday and rushed to the hospital. Upon being airlifted to another hospital, they found tumors, and are running tests on them. Keep this entire family in your prayers!
